This project was a “concept to prototype” for a sprayer that is able to operate in tomato trellises and transform to be a field sprayer. The arm is hydraulically controlled and the sprayer pressure pump is PTO driver. There is a re-circulation mixer rod in the holding tank and the spray nozzle bodies are quick adjust to 5 different nozzle types. A picture from in-field testing is shown below:
