Tight design parameters of the cooling system for a flagship combine harvester required innovation to create a better performing debris cleaning device (suction wand). The aerodynamics of the parts were re-designed, modeled in 3D, analyzed using CFD, and tested to prove the concept. Manufacturing drawings were created through discussions with a specialty supplier.

The design is now in production and covered under this patent filing in Europe and the US.
