Project Description
The threshing system of a combine harvester commonly has an adjustable portion controlled by one or more actuators. There is interest in creating multiple independently adjustable sections (concaves) within the system. This design and patent allows the independent adjustment of more than 2 sections with only 2 actuators. In the specific patent drawings, the design is indepedently adjusting 4 concave sections with only 2 actuators.
There is a significant cost savings and simplicity for this design. It will be advantageous intellectual property as the systems move toward more automation and fine tuning becomes higher priority.
